Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, who met with several senior members of the Trump White House and cabinet — like Attorney General Jeff Sessions and former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn — apparently told the Putin regime that President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, wanted to set up a secret communications backchannel between the Kremlin and the Trump transition team.
